What a unique stay, wow. I really am amazed by this church turned into a hotel and done in such an elegant way. Room was really clean, the view indoors to the church walls and windows - epic. Restaurant was of high quality and tied in perfectly with the rest of the place. Would certainly recommend staying there!

The room was exceptionally well-presented and very spacious and comfortable, with ample room and space for sleeping, sitting/relaxing and working. The breakfast selection was extensive and second-to-none with many, many options available, offering very good value for money. The staff is incredibly kind and sweet! Jur is such a nice funny guy that made us laugh and Lisa was a pure, kind hearted ❤️ really a unique duo of staff that really made our stay incredible! The structure is adorable, very clean, cosy, 5 minutes walk from the train station and perfect for a few days stay.

Loved our stay at Hotel de Magneet . Hoorn is a charming city and a very convenient location for exploring Old Holland, The Zuiderzee Museum and is also very close to Amsterdam by bus or train. The modern hotel is located a short walk to the bus and train station . The room was located in the garden and was quiet, clean and comfortable . The bathroom was very clean with a bath and all amenities. The included breakfast was extensive with both hot and cold options . It was served buffet style in a newly renovated and sunny restaurant area. The room also had a kettle and a TV. The owners were very helpful with recommendations and always on hand to answer any questions. There are lots of cafes and restaurants close by in the main square and the harbour.

It was an exceptional stay. First the sheer size of the place. Second, the amazing antiques and furniture, yet it still felt very cosy. There was classical music playing on TV as we walked in and that totally suited the atmosphere. There were very thoughtful touches like toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathroom and dressing gowns. It's right in the heart of Hoorn yet very quiet. And the bed was the comfiest I have ever slept in. We would have stayed longer if we could. We were here on a beer tour following Tim Skelton's Beer in the Netherlands and this was a wonderful stop!
