We slept in the old post office, nicely renovated. We were in walking distance to the village and directly on the cycling path for the next day. Willem was frienly and helpful, his breakfast amazing and plentiful. We even made sandwiches for lunch!

We had a cosy room, right by the kitchen which had everything we needed, and our own bathroom. Breakfast was great. Perfect place to stay if you're visiting the seals or want to do some walking in remote Dutch nature (and nearby the wadden!).

The location was super and the host very sweet and thoughtful. We were going out for diner around 20:15, but there is only one restaurant and the kitchen already closes at 20:00-20:30. We should have done our research with this:). Anyhow the host helped us out with some starter snacks, beer and some great pizza's. In the end we were very happy that she helped us out this way. The room was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely book Waddenhoes again when we should visit Pieterburen again.

An interesting hotel that needs a little facelift but is really good value. The reception and carpark are not right beside the rooms. The bedroom was large and spacious with comfortable beds. A bit basic but fine for one night. The bathroom shower in my room could have done with a screen as the floor beside gets very wet. The restaurant across the road (theirs) serves good food and has ample seating. Breakfast that was served there was adequate.

I stayed here before starting the pieter pad and I was very positively impressed! Polite staff, clean and comfortable room, very quiet and peaceful location, excellent breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.
