The breakfast was exceptional. Continental style with a remarkably varied choice of bread/sweetbreads, boiled egg, yogurt, cheese, etc. The hotel has a very good cafe/restaurant on the ground floor where we enjoyed a late dinner and lunch the next day. Our family had two rooms which were both spacious, very comfortable, and looked recently renovated.

Best glutenfree breakfast I ever had ! Excellent bed and facilities. More important, the location is great, walking distance to the center to see the Planetarium, many different restaurants and coffee places. The town has beautiful architecture and pitoresque houses. Bitgummole is a small village less than ten minutes from Leeuwarden. So much more pleasant than being in a big busy city. The property itself was beautiful, the room layout allowed for a comfortable sitting and dining area. The breakfast was very generous and was different each morning of our three nights stay.
