We were on a bike tour of north eastern Netherlands. This was our favorite overnight stop from 8 overnights. The room was large, with a lovely view of the river and a great balcony that we sat out on, It was really a very comfortable room. We ate dinner there and again it was great. What a lovely location. All of the staff were so helpful. Bike storage was great. A locked room with charging points. Breakfast was fantastic. A very large selection of food in the buffet and a pleasent bright room to sit in.

Great location, short walk from bus stop. Breakfast was very good. Staff helpful and approachable, even though they were extremely busy. There is a storage area for your luggage if you arrive early or want to explore the village more after checkout. I wasn't keen on the idea of self check in and check out as I'm not too tech savvy, however it was simple and quick. We had room 41, we were surprised at how large it was. It is like a small apartment, would be suitable for a longer stay, we were only there one night. Good layout and nicely decorated and furnished. Pleasant and comfortable. Canoe and bike hire, restaurants, everything close by.

The Blue Houseboat was a very different experience to a normal hotel/b&b in a good way. Being on the water was very relaxing, quiet & peaceful. The location was great with a few choices for restaurants.
