This accomidation had so many nice surprises so the 4 of us loved it. We were worried a bit of getting food in this town but the owner had very tasty sandwiches, beer on tap, and amazing dessert and coffee. Nice kitchen to use upstairs, everything is new and updates. Really great place to stay!

It's hard to capture the experience in words, which is why writing this review is particularly tricky. But we really had a wonderful stay at the property. We were with four people, and the hosts personally welcomed us to the property and showed us around. It's a nice 2 storied house with a terrace and a stunning view over a fjord. We were a bit ravished after a day of driving (and a week of sailing preceding that), and the little snacks and fruit that the hosts left for us were particularly welcome. It felt like arriving at home to your family rather than an rental property. The whirlpool is a whole different story in itself. Prior to going to Norway I had this image of what it would be like to celebrate New Year there. And I imagine sitting in a jacuzzi, warm and cosy, while being surrounded by harsh elements and cold. This is exactly what we got to experience during our stay. But with the added benefit of again enjoying a stunning view over the fjord and the ripples an occasional wind gust left on its waters. It was nothing less than magical. The property also has a full complement of equipment for various activities, such as SUP boards (with life vests), fishing rods and barbecue. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy these, but seeing all the possibilities made me want to come back to the property and spend a few more nights there next time.

Arctic Ocean Lodge is set in Skjolde and offers a bar, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge.

Stunning quiet location that is far from most of the main tourist areas of Lofoten but dont let that discourage you from visiting, this is a completely authentic and family run lodging experience. We really valued our time here in the cozy rorbua. It is a perfect location for doing a loop of Andoya Island for a day as well. 100% recommend for a relaxing weekend getaway, just be prepared to bring any food you want in, as it is 30 min to the nearest store.

Glass domes at Arctic Ocean Lodge is located in Andøya and offers a garden and a terrace. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service.

This is a fantastic place that I would love to return to one day! I love the location - it feels remote but you are only a short 10min drive from the main town Bleik (with a supermarket etc). My friend and I were lucky to have 2x nights in a row of the most stunning northern lights display which we were able to enjoy from the spa, beach, and even from our window once we got too cold (see the attached photo for the view of the Aurora from our window)! The weather during the day was very rainy, but the island is still so beautiful even in the rain. Once we were ready to get out of the rain, we loved having some wine and cheese while sitting on the bench and enjoy the glorious view.

Toftenes Sjøhuscamping features a garden and a bar in Alsvåg. The campground also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.

Stillehuset is the most wonderful and magical place in Andøya and it is well-equipped with everything you need for your vacation. The neighborhood is calm and welcoming. Synne, the host, gave us a warm welcome and was always helpful with tips for exploring the place. The pictures don’t do it justice - it’s even better in reality! I really really hope to return one day!

My grandmother in Ukraine had a similar interior in her house. It was like being in childhood and being able to show it to my children. A very cozy house with a vintage atmosphere, the opportunity to sleep in silence and without neighbors, with a wonderful view from the windows.
