The amazing welcome of the person working in the surfing shop with who I talk a lot and he even offer a coffee. The room and facilites were perfectly clean and comfortable. The location is just in a wonderful spot!

Staying in Furu was an awesome opportunity to meet travellers, have a base to visit local sites in Lofoten and return to a cozy home. The main cafe/ground floor was a really inviting place to be, fireplace, dogs curled up for pats and people hanging out for conversation. The volunteers/staff were a highlight for me, they were helpful, friendly and generally open people. The bed had a personal power socket, light and shade to reduce unnecessary light and the showers were always clean. The owner was also very welcoming, personally invited guests to a farewell party. I loved my time at Furu and would easily recommend someone to stay at the accommodation.

The best value for money in the Lofoten Islands! This is a former school dormitory converted into a hotel. We had a wonderful stay; the room was spacious and comfortable, and the host warmly welcomed us with great flexibility and recommendations for exploring the area.

We were very happy with our choice to stay for a night in a cabin which was very well designed. We had some issues at th beginning but the owners were so helpful and found solution immediately. Beds were comgy, sauna was jsut great in the morning. Thank you again and hopefully see you next year! Tereza and family.

Eggum is a small town without any facilities.

Eggum is a small town without any facilities. There are some great ( but challenging ) hikes nearby. It’s a nice walk from the village along the beach to the ‘face’ art near the ruins of an old war outpost.
