They gave us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony and view of the fjord. The staff were so attentive and really put in effort to make us feel at home and cared after. The breakfast was delicious! First, they gave a selection of cold cuts, vegetables and cheeses. Then they made roasted mushrooms, bacon, and eggs cooked to order! There was also fresh fruit, coffee, tea, bread, and muesli.

Very Silent and Peaceful location. I just could not get enough of the view. It had an apple tree outside our Balcony. Dinner was Super expensive, I will not say no, but the chef is top. Always ask for a Table Fan which will be given to you on request, as u will need 1 for slight air circulation in the room….coz u will need to shut the windows coz of the outside noise and mosquitoes sometimes.…or else u might feel stuffy or sweaty in the middle of the night…..this is a tip to be used in the whole of Norway.

The place is very beautiful, I like it even more then Flåm.

The place is very beautiful, I like it even more then Flåm. Roads 7and 49 are spectacular I just hope that one day they will be more friendly as they are very narrow and in high season it's a test to drive there.
