The hotel location is perfect! Near every establishments, shops, restaurants and mall. The staffs were so nice. The reception lady even went to my room to inform me that I can stay until 2 pm in my room instead of checking out at 12. I had told her the previous day about my bus coming at 3 pm so I had to stay in the hotel until that time. She went beyond my expectations. Breakfast was good and they always refill everytime, kitchen staffs were also nice. And it's good that the lobby area have a coffee and water while you are waiting there. Over all experience was great and I would definitely recommend it! Would love to come back to this hotel! Thank you Hotell Skansen! ❤️🇳🇴

Loved everything about this hotel and definitely going to come back! The facilities are amazing and took full advantage of the pool/gym/SPA area, which is wonderful and open long hours everyday, allowing a sport session early in the morning and an evening realxing moment after work in the pool or sauna which are super well equipped and clean. Rooms are great, spacious and you can find everything you might need. Our arrival has been particularly nice and got the warmest welcome from the amazing Evita at the reception - she has been super sweet to us and allowed an early check in, finding an alternative room since mine was not ready yet. Loved it - 10/10 to her! Kudos also to Aleksandra that welcomed us to the SPA area both nights of our stay and that has been an absolute pleasure to meet - super helpful, kind and smiley! The hotel staff definitely made the experience perfect, in a structure that already went beyond our expecations.

It’s located a bit outskirt of the town centre but not far from the town centre as you can walk 8-10 mins to the town. The location is less light pollution as we experienced northen lights dancing on our naked eyes along two days just through our room window. The most important thing is its near to Tromso prosneset. Just walking downhill around 8 mins to get there where it is a transportation centre to connect the town to other city,district, state or even countries like sweden or finland.
