The apartment is very nice, clean, and well-kept. Its real advantage is the absolutely fantastic view of the lake from the window! It looks like a painting. In general, the location is wonderful, surrounded by greenery, somewhere up in the mountains. It’s worth taking a walk down to the lake. Thomas was very kind and helpful. The shower is not inside the room, but for us that wasn’t a problem. The toilet, however, is inside the room. Excellent value for money by Norwegian standards.

Absolutely exceptional place in an excellent location with a view of the river. A shop nearby. The cottage is very comfortable and clean. I definitely recommend it!

Staff were extra friendly. Breakfast options were massive and so delicious... Please pass on my compliments to the chef. The small, basic room was actually quite large. It felt more like an Airbnb with its own person touch of a bookshelf, couch and tv in a separate room to the bedroom, etc. And, it was all at a low price.

The heritage house is a thing of amazing beauty! The warmth, the decoration, the home-made breakfast, everything looks and feels great! Very cozy and hospitable environment, with free parking 20 meters away. The host was very kind and helpful and understanding. It's obvious that he takes great care of this house and everything around it. The dinner he offered was rich and tasteful, and he even chipped in a little extra for the kids, although we had only booked dinner for 2!

The owner of the house is very respectful and the house is modern and spacious. There is a spacious living room and a large TV with a cinema system. I had difficulty operating the electric oven and he quickly came and operated it for me. He has outdoor activities and bicycles near him, a 15-minute drive away. There is a large supermarket.

Flatheim Glamping is located in Viksdalen and offers a terrace and a bar. The accommodation is non-smoking.

Beautiful setting overlooking the river. Our boys had their first fishing experience with the support of the host. That was fantastic. Loved canoeing on the nearby fairly big lake with big waterfalls in the distance. We were the only one on the lake. Great dinner. Very welcoming hosts. Tents are super comfortable with great beds. We also got the indoor fireplace for our s’mores. So, simply a stunning stop on our family road trip through Norway. I wish would have stayed 2 nights. Unforgettable!
