Staying at Paradis is an experience rather than a normal holiday destination. The house is big and has lots of space for people to enjoy. A few steps out of the door and you'll be on a small beach from which, if you are not afraid of the cold, you can swim. Arne can take you fishing on his little boat. During our expedition we nearly caught a halibut, we narrowly missed it but it was emotional. The location is ideal if you like to stay away from crowds and want to enjoy nature.

- The vibe of the lodge was perfect. When we arrived we were told the lodge was supposed to feel like a home away from home and it was exactly that. Cosy and comfortable. We felt very relaxed but at the same time the staff's attention to detail and hospitality was amazing. We loved chilling in the lounge area where the fire was always on, chilled music playing and the perfect ambience. - The staff, in particular Oliver, Alton and Romero made our stay incredible. The staff were very attentive, knowledgable, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. - The food was amazing. 5* quality food every evening. The chef checked regularly if we liked the food and came to the table to chat with us each evening about the food. We loved everything but for example for other guests he went out of his way to make something that more suited their tastes. - The activities. We did husky sledding, whale watching and the northern lights tour. They were all excellent and well organised. We didn't get to see the northern lights on our tour due to heavy cloud coverage but the tour guide still went out of his way to try and make the excursion enjoyable. Luckily we had seen the northern lights the previous night sat in the hot tub. They have a full equipment room with everything you need for the excursions including snow suits, snow boots, hats, gloves etc. They will make sure you are well equipped for whatever activity you have booked. - Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I would 100% book this trip again and would recommend this lodge to everyone.

The apartment was very comfortable and very spacious, with a big private bathroom equipped with a washing machine and a dryer! The kitchen has dishwasher and all you need for cooking; there is a large balcony perfect for drink a beer with a super view on the fiord. There is a private area for parking and the ground floor has a free sauna and a big equipment room with ski boot dryers. We really appreciated the location and the apartment!

This house is spectacular with amazing views! It's lovely and remote but still has a small shop and delicious coffee shop a 10 minute walk away. The house is decorated to a high standard and Iver and Elisabeth were very informative and helpful.

Beautiful remote location, the space on the upper floor is very comfortable. We loved to sit there, lighting up the fireplace, watching the sea in front of us. Perfect polar circle vibe. The host was very kind and helpful.
