Great host. Great property. Felt like home. It was a great stay. Very comfortable, and the host was awesome. He started a fire for us and offered dinner. Will stay here again! Also a great spot for the northern lights. View from the rooms is perfect for viewing in the warmth and comfort.

This resort was everything I ever dreamed it would be! We rented a car and drove from Tromso. We spent two nights in a cabin and one night in hotel both had amazing views and we enjoyed both the same! We were fortunate to see northern lights 2 out of 3 nights we were there! The guides are amazing for the excursions and really make the experience! But you will be cold (as expected) and its a 1km uphill walk to most of them so I’d recommend booking excursions on separate days for your experience to be most enjoyable especially if traveling with kids. Cabin with 6 rooms, all with their locks, huge shared kitchen/dining/living room with window wall to wall looking in woods. Peace and quite all around. Shower and toilet are in separate rooms, two of both. In room sink, wardrobe and really comfortable bed. Heating on electric heater warms up the room fast enough.

The apartment was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The wood fired sauna next to fjord is the cherry on the cake and makes the stay even more special. You can borrow several things like snow snow shoes or mats to sledge down the mountains. I loved the place and felt like home! I’ll be back here soon!

It’s a distance from Tromso but the drive was pleasant and scenic. The house is modern and very well equipped, everything was well prepared for our stay. It was picture perfect scenery from sunrise to sunset, right from the comfort of the heated floor in the living room. We even saw the northern lights right outside on one of the nights.

The nearest town for shopping, dining, or a petrol station...

The nearest town for shopping, dining, or a petrol station is about 20 km away, but there's hardly any traffic. A small hiking trail starts right at the front door. The Northern Lights were directly overhead – incredible! Lots of mountains and the sea are nearby. You might even spot moose if you're lucky. Ideal for self-catering.
