The place is quite rough and ready (and the host Terje is quite gruff too!). Our first impressions after our long journey were not great, too be honest. But as they say, you should never judge a book by it's cover... We were cajoled into an evening fishing/crabbing trip in Terje's small boat, taught how to haul in the nets, fillet cod and mackerel, crack open fresh crabs. Our catch was consumed with gusto in the communal dining room by guests from six different countries. Overall it was messy, slapdash, a bit crazy.. but also totally brilliant fun!! For the open-minded, adventure awaits!!!

Our room and the breakfast were absolutely perfect. The spacious accommodations exceeded our expectations, especially with the complimentary upgrade to accommodate the children's bed. The convenience of parking right in front of the hotel was a huge plus. The gym facilities surpassed those found in typical hotels, offering a fantastic workout experience. Moreover, the addition of a sauna was a good surprise, providing a relaxing retreat after our exercise sessions. Overall, our stay far exceeded our expectations, making it an exceptionally enjoyable and comfortable experience.
