Smedsgarden Hotel was a gem of a discovery for us last minute. The location is right off a main highway, but far enough away and well insulated that highway noise is not a problem. The perfect choice for a family with kids. Our kids loves the ropes course and indoor/outdoor playground. It was a great stopover on route to the Borgund Stave Church and the fjords.
