The breakfast was one of the best we had in Norway with very personal service. The table was ready for us with a variety of choices (not a buffet). The atmosphere of the entire property was quiet and relaxing; it felt very homey and welcoming. Finally, the staff was incredible and went out of their way to make sure there were options for my husband with some dietary restrictions. The dinner was excellent and we loved sitting and visiting with people from other parts of the world!

Really nothing to be worried about that it is underground. The place was fantastically built and furnished. We would say that it is better value-for-buck than any hotel room in a small city could ever be. A nice campsite with a great location if you want to visit Trollstigen. The cottages are comfortable and cozy, with everything you need.
