To our surprise we were up- graded without any extra costs to a beautiful room with fjord view. The bed was very comfortable with good pillows and fluffy duvets. Great shower and toiletries. The hotel was located in stunning surroundings close to the beach in an almost park like area. Walking distance to Vikersund. The breakfast was amazing with a huge spread of everything you could ever wish for. Great coffe!. Very friendly and hospitable staff.

The entire house was excellent — warm, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. We’re truly grateful for their hospitality! Just a note: if you’re traveling with elderly guests, please be aware that the stairs are quite steep.

The 3 BR house we got was right on the beach amd had a lovely sitout with huge glass windows on 2 sides with amazing views of the water and the hills behind. The kitchen had ample utencils and crockery. The dishwasher and fridge/freezer were convenient during our stay. The outdoor sitout with sofas and tables were great for outdoor meals.

Beautiful place. Fantastic layout and an amazing kitchen with all the required crockery and utencils. Well thought out details and white goods. The view of the fjord from the balcony is lovely and a perfect setting for a morning coffee. The jacuzzi was a perfect place to end a very long day, for us. The house was spacious and didn't feel crowded for the 8 of us. Enough parking space for cars just in front of the house. Nice quiet area. Comfortable beds. A very nice sitting area in the basement floor.
