We just love it 💖! The house was perfect for us! We are a family of 5 so ea one of the kids got their own room . The kitchen was perfect in the supermarket is 200 meters away so we were able to make dinner and even do some laundry! It has a very nice view and it's next to a playground for the kids and come with its own trampoline.

The parking outside the suite is ample, and quite convenient when one is arriving or departing. The kitchen area is very well equipped, and it was easy to make coffee, tea, and any meals. There are grocery stores within walking distance, or by a short bus-ride. A nearby thrift shop called “Brukt og Nyttig” has a treasure trove of interesting finds. Walking and cycling opportunities are close by, and one can easily enjoy the island’s shoreline.

Beautiful room, very clean. Felt like coming home. The breakfast was perfect - enough to choose from, high quality, a very nice breakfast room (the «green garden» restaurant). They even had barista coffee for breakfast, which was a huge plus for me.

We loved our stay at the Comfort Hotel in Ålesund. Our room was super spacious, bright, clean, quiet and comfortable with lots of storage. The breakfast was great with hot and cold options. The public spaces were beautifully presented with original artwork adorning every wall, spacious rooms for breakfast and others for catered events. There is a bar/reception area which serves beer, wine and cocktails. The hotel is extremely conveniently located to the rest of the town, but is on a quiet street right near the water. There are good restaurants right across the road, or round the corner and parking is free overnight on the street, (though there are parking garages as well, close by). Ålesund, is a lovely town, easy to walk with good shops and restaurants as well as interesting sites, and excursions are available for exploring further afield. A must do: Either with kids or without is the Aquarium, there is a shuttle bus available as it is a bit out of town, we drove there (it was easy to get to), but it is one of the best Aquariums I have ever visited (and I've visited quite a few) particularly the outside exhibits, where you can get close up to penguins, seals and otters. It is so well designed and laid out, you could easily spend hours here, and it's in a beautiful spot right on the Atlantic Ocean !
