Very interesting place to learn something about the history of Norway. The place is today quite cozy and it feels like a big B&B. There is a small kitchen that can be used to cook (but note that the only grocery store around closes at 18). Breakfast was simple but good. The price includes the entrance to the museum, that you can visit even after closing hours. Remember to check for time of guided tours if you are interested.

The host was super kind and welcoming. Breakfast was great, with lots of Norwegian specialities to try. The place is nice and quiet, and the lake terrace is perfect for just hanging out and relaxing.

We arrived late in the evening (pos 11 pm) and they were very friendly offering us an alternative check-in. The bedroom was big and with wonderful views of the fjord. However the comfort of the bed was what we like the most! We had an amazing sleep!!! Breakfast very complete and with nice views. The hotel is wonderful. It has a mix between the traditional Norwegian hotel and modern furniture. The garden is amazing! We recommend you to spend some time having a walk! We wish we could stay longer!!!

We had two amazing (separate) overnight stays here and we absolutely loved it. The apartment has everything that's needed, perfectly clean and gives 100% hygge-feeling especially by watching the sheep. We loved it a lot and would always go back.
