Loved this place, rather quirky with lots of memorabilia on display. Very comfortable bedrooms, shower block down the hall, cozy bar and restaurant, very welcoming staff and owners. Tea and coffee on a table in the hallway.

What an absolute little gem of a place this is. We loved our stay! Of the beaten track, yet pretty close to Greymouth. The food was out of this world! The menu coversall bases and fantastic value for money. We ended up getting three courses each and ended up absolutely stuffed! The hotel is charming, with a lot of character and an amazing back story and history. The staff is so friendly and helpful! They even provided hot water bottles to take to bed on a cold winter's night! We will definitely be back!!

Very quiet, neat, and tidy room with a bathroom. The host went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They took us on a historical drive and explained all the interesting places. Best coffee in NZ. Wayne prepared a great breakfast. John was so kind even to clean the windows of our car. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
