A sweet and safe little sanctuary within walking distance of the ruins of Raqchi. But the best part is the wonderful family that runs the spot— Fanny speaks multiple languages and can help with travel planning and logistics, and her parents at the hotel are absolute gems. They let me park my motorcycle inside the courtyard. One of the best experiences I had in Peru.

I had an amazing stay! Yaneth is a true “mama” — she took care of everything I needed. ‎‏The rooms were comfortable and quiet, and every evening there was a delicious hot meal and even some food to take for the road in the morning when I went hiking in the area. Hot showers every night! ‎‏Yaneth took time out of her day to help me plan my route and gave great recommendations for places I shouldn’t miss. ‎‏The hostel’s location is perfect — you can reach the mountains within an hour to an hour and a half drive, enjoy your hikes, and come back to sleep peacefully in the village without any rush. ‎‏In summary, I highly recommend Yaneth and her homestay! If you’re in the area, make sure to come — you won’t regret it!
