A wonderful place after a long stay in the mountains.

A wonderful place after a long stay in the mountains. It's worth venturing from Arequipa (a 2-hour minivan ride) to spend even a day there. In summer, the beaches and food are wonderful. Grill bars on the way to the viewing platform offer cheap and good food.

It's not exactly the best time to go.

It's not exactly the best time to go. But considering the situation with COVID-19 and everything else, it's pretty good. The price increase is a bit high, but that's due to the low demand from visitors. I recommend the cafe across from the first beach. Good ceviche and the staff were friendly.
