The location is amazing -- right on the banks of the Amazon river. The lodge is completely screened in so you can experience the sights and sounds of nature (without all the mosquitoes). The family room is perfect for a family with 2-3 kids. Many other places don't have a pool and let me tell you -- the pool is a lifesaver to cool down in the hot afternoons! Our English-speaking guide did a great job personalizing daily adventures each day, from ziplining to visiting wild animals. The food was phenomenal! The chef was able to accommodate our pescatarian diet. Overall, they welcomed us like family and we would recommend the Avatar for a once in a lifetime experience!

Absolutely beautiful place, an oasis of peace and calm after the hectic city of Iquitos. It felt like a secret jungle hideout, tucked away down a tributary of the Amazon. The hosts were adorable and treated me like family, cooking delicious meals for me, even taking good care of me when I was a bit poorly with a head-cold. I don’t speak a word of Spanish, yet we managed to communicate just fine and even had some interesting conversations! Thanks also to Enrique, my jungle guide, who took me on a fascinating kayak tour. This time of year the whole area is flooded, so it almost feels like staying on a boat! But there were also kayaks available if I wanted to get out and explore. Although for me I was quite content to relax, meditate and soak up the good vibes. Thank you Liseth and Wiler - I will certainly be back if I ever return to the area.

Great rooftop pool and view!! The music was pretty noisy until 1.30am but we expected this and slept with our own music on, so was fine 😄 Great menu. Excellent breakfast! Very friendly staff 😊

Great value for money. Perfect location and good air con in the room. Free water refills. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, were able to leave our bags for 5 days while we went into the Jungle and they helped sort us a ride to the airport at a reasonable price 😁

Really nice, modern hotel with big rooms. Air condition and Wifi worked perfectly, and special thanks to the receptionist who managed to get our clothes washed even we check in a bit late, and also ordering taxi really early in the morning.
