Absolutely wonderful spot, perfect for exploring the forest and surrounding area. The bedroom was cute, comfortable, and immaculately clean, and the staff were lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic, and although we arrived very late the first night, we were able to access the room with no issues at all. I wouldn't hesitate to come back!

I don't know of any other place where every detail is so refined. A brilliant atmosphere created by the service and the visionary boss. The food is a real poetry of flavours! Products of the highest quality. Great Polish wines. But the most wonderful thing are the interiors and their design. Wonderfully comfortable beds! Peace and quiet. Fairytale surroundings! We even managed to see a bison in the clearing next door. Simply phenomenal! This is the second time we've been here, and we'll be coming back in the Spring! There is no more original place in Europe! Wonderful!!!

This place is perfect if you really want to rest and relax. The house is located on one of the side roads of the main ul. Stoczek, so you don't really hear cars around but only birds singing. The room is very clean and cozy, there are basic things (plates, pots, induction stove, glasses, etc.) if you're up to some quick cooking, there's floor heating, a very comfortable bed and a nice little balcony. It's 10 min walking from both the Palace Park and the Wysokie Bagno trail, which is great if you're into birdwatching and/or hiking. The owner is very kind and friendly, and easy to communicate to. Next time I'll be in Białowieża, I'm definitely gonna stay again here! :)

If you enjoy wilderness and forests, this is the place for you. I advise getting a guide (compulsory in some areas) to learn about the forest ecosystem and its most famous residents, the bison. Getting around town is very easy - it's not big! We went in November, so definitely not the high tourist season, and the weather cooperated. The town was almost empty, the forest smelled of autumn and was changing colors. If you're after night-life and clubs, this is not the place for you. If you crave Nature, this is definitely a good choice.

Wonderful natural area, fascinating walks all around. We met wild bisons on one walk! The town itself has most of the things a traveller requires and is a delight with its varied Polish styles of building and much charm and plenty to look at. We came by train to Hajnowka and then bus to Bialo; you have to time this carefully as the buses are infrequent. Bikes can be hired in town which was great for us.

Great place for wildlife watching, or even if you just want to get away from the city and relax in a quiet little village. Car's needed because this is a rather remote area, and if you want to visit nearby trails and towns you're not going to do it with public transport. Any trail you can find here is worth visiting, and even just strolling around the Palace Park and the main road you can have a good birdwatching experience. Most of the restaurants on the main road are good, but Biesiada is really great, with delicious homemade local food (babka ziemniaczana recommended).

The Palace Park is a very cozy place and the guided tours to the Strict Reserve are a must, as this part of the forest is uniquely untouched by human activity. I also highly recommend to take a 'bison safari' at dawn, as seeing these magnificent creatures living in the wild is a great experience! The "Places of National Remembrance" Trail around Białowieża is also a worthwhile trip. However, if you plan to use public transport - connections to Hajnówka from elsewhere in Poland are in good quality, but from Hajnówka to the eastern villages are rare and not very useful to plan hiking trips, so you should plan for a substitute option in advance.

Place to look for bisons (very early in the morning, 4am ideal in May, and at sunset, 6:30pm), and for the primary forest of Bialowieza, to visit with a guide (mandatory). You can contact "Arek Szymura Pygmy Owl Nature Tours", for organizing tours and support of guides.

We loved the Stoczek Street with its traditional houses...

We loved the Stoczek Street with its traditional houses situated among fruit trees and the other greenery. The National Park with the breath taking buildings and the nearby Old Railway Station truly enchanted us. But most importantly, we loved Bialowieza because of its vicinity to the forest and its beauty - the Place of Power and the Bizon's Rib are one of many areas worth seeing.

We liked everything about this place! Every little detail was taken care of. There's a common kitchen that was very clean and convenient. Very soft bed. Magical place all around. The host is a lovely lady who let us check in late since we had to travel long distance to get to Białowieża. The location was just 500 meters from a little square from which most activities started.

Everything was great. The cottage is clean and spacious with kitchen annex and with a nice backyard garden, where one can relax. It is also located in the center where you can easily go for walks to the town or into the surrounding national park. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely be back.
