It was a wonderful place for our family holiday. The house has all the amenities, a beautifully maintained garden and a lovely swimming pool. Our hostess, Rosa is a very nice and cheerful person who constantly surprised us with home-made cakes, strawberries and vegetables from her garden, and delicious liqueurs. Very friendly host. The room was clean and everything felt new. We enjoyed our stay and specifically loved the little balcony our room had with it's lovely view. The tiny refrigerator in our room was a great bonus. Note that each room does not have its own coffee machine. The coffee machine is located at the entrance to all the rooms and shared by all guests.

Lots of choice from cooked breakfast to fresh fruit, cereals, breads, yoghurt, meats & cheeses. Hotel was as the name i.e. rural location which is why we chose it. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful overlooking the river. Rooms large with lovely outlook, with all having their own balconies. WiFi connected instantly. Staff all very friendly and helpful, especially Antonio when we arrived after midnight he made us a cup of tea and gave us some cake as he could see we'd had a difficult journey. Housekeeping was very efficient.

The location of the hotel right on the river, boasting amazing views all around. The large room Windows and the balcony overlooking the river. Staff was genuinely nice and warm, and attentive, quick to respond. Everyday we had a complimentary large bottle of water in the room. The pool is great to catch some sun, swim and relax. The restaurant is very good. One of the evenings it was warm enough, so we had di ner outside, overlooking the river. It's priceless.

Hotel had a good feel - not too big/small. Room was great, clean & with view (balcony) over water. Staff were friendly & helpful & having dinner at hotel was a big bonus given we had a long cycle to get there. Evening meal was good (I had pork cheeks & was great); breakfast was great. Excellent place to stop on our route South & good value for the quality of stay. They stored our bikes safely in the (shut out of season) toilets next to the pool.
