This is a house on a farm. Imagine going to grandmother's house with all her things there, set up as in her day. I loved the hand embelished linens, alentejo plate collection, old games, kitchen, dining room, living room and bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms below which share the downstairs bathroom and 2.5 bedrooms above which share an upstairs bathroom. The farm is large with an orchard & chickens. The farmer lives on the farm with his family and mother in the other 2 houses.

Exceptional value, the room was huge, spacious, and a nice view. The hotel is brand new, so it's squeaky clean. The shower was heavenly. The beds and cotton linens very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty and their guest service skills were excellent. They even lent me a vacuum cleaner to clean my car right at the front door! Now that is a good example of top guest service.
