To start, Hotel do Lago is closed during the time we booked, we were not supposed to get a room there. Unaware to us, the 4 hotels in the area are from the same company, so we were transferred to Hotel do Parque, which is right next to Bom Jesus. The staff was very kind and helpful in solving the wrong booking issue and find our room, even more, as an apology, they gave gave us a nice bottle of wine. They were very helpful with information and tips, including providing free toothbrushes/toothpaste. The room we got was superb, with a nice view of Bom Jesus and excellent facilities. The breakfast is the best, buffet style with hot items and plenty of nice things to eat/drink

Really friendly receptionist (who seemed to do everything) who suggested excellent restaurant down the road while we were waiting for check in. Large comfortable room with balcony over the pool. Nice little pool for a rest before going into the beautiful city. - a 5-6€ Uber ride. Parking outside, small breakfast room, reasonable selection - excellent value little hotel.
