Character hotel in a beautiful setting. Room was clean and comfortable. Claudia and the owner were very friendly and helpful. There is a village 1km away but for us the hotel had everything we needed. We cooked our own evening meal in the well equipped kitchen. Breakfast was provided and very tasty.

It is in Mêda, on of the most beautiful areas of Portugal, with fields of wines, olives and almond trees. It is a simple, affordable, hotel, not fancy, but has large rooms, with proper duvets that are warm enough in the cold nights, a good breakfast with bread-rolls ham, cheese, and good coffee. The place is clean, staff are friendly and it is located close to a few local restaurants and a pizzeria. In the summer you can swim in the public, outdoor swimming pool, which is located a short stroll from the hotel. The wine in the area is excellent. You can go on walks in the beautiful area or drive to one of the nearby villages. Remember to bring your camera or sketching book!

it is a property of three houses with a swimming pool. The owners live in one of the houses, a very friendly and helpful couple. the construction of the houses is quite recent and they offer comfort conditions (example air conditioning) We really enjoyed the days we spent at the house, allowing us to get to know Marialva, one of the 12 historic villages in Portugal, as well as other locations/areas in the region (example Foz Côa)

We stayed in a generously sized room in a 500 year old renovated farmhouse in one of the most magical villages in Portugal. The lady who ran the property was lovely and made us feel like family. The breakfast was great and we loved visiting the castle which is actually the ruins of the walled medieval village. It is actually one of the most incredible sites to visit as you can see the streets and what's left of the houses as well as public buildings like the town square. We thought it would be a stopping off point but it was actually a highlight of our trip to Portugal.
