A wonderful, elegant boutique hotel on the waterfront in Colibița! Villa Galleria provides a very nice restaurant with a diverse menu and great wine selection thanks to Mr ONIȘOR and his team! We loved the modern amenities facing the lake. The room was amazing, very modern, quiet and facing the lake! Many thanks to the whole team starting with the manager!

Modern, clean, Nice location, great view, friendly staff, good coffee, Netflix was included, big screen Smart tv in the room, all facilities needed, lovely lobby, grill, terrace & pontoon. No neighbors close to our place (which is good for intimacy and quietness), but who knows in the future? Will come again.

Coming from an extremely busy city, this place was perfect for our vacation. The owners are very welcoming and gave us a lot of good recommendations. The food is home-cooked with local ingredients and it is very tasty. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone willing to relax and recharge before starting another working month.

Instead of a room in the main villa we were given a wooden cottage a few meters up the hill all for outselves. There more than enough room for two persons, the terrace was amazing for relaxing and eating, the interior was super-cosy and clean, the bathroom was great.

When we arrived, being Sunday, Colibita was quite crowded.

When we arrived, being Sunday, Colibita was quite crowded. We found a good restaurant, Hanul Colibita, the food was good, Transylvanian specialties, acceptable prices, friendly staff. The view is beautiful, imagine, the melange of mountains and below the lake (sea) with forest on the slopes.

It is a beautiful lake and place at the bottom of mountains...

It is a beautiful lake and place at the bottom of mountains Cǎlimani in eastern Transilvania, the gate of Transilvania some call it! Some roads could be better but the location is quiet and beautiful. I've only been in October which is off season.

Great for relaxing stays.

Great for relaxing stays. I would recommend you don't go with little kids, as you will ruin the vacation of those who go for peace and quiet. Clean air. Very quiet. Lake view. Colder even in the hotest days of summer.

The scenery is amazing and the lake is the same colour as...

The scenery is amazing and the lake is the same colour as the clear blue sky. However, a 2-3 days stay is enough, as you can't do very much over there. You can rent watersports gear, hike and eat. I saw a lot of villas that are renting bikes, but I have no clue where to bike as half of the main road is under construction and dusty... You don't have a lakefront alley on which you can walk or bike around which is such a pity. The villas are chaotically placed around the lake. If your villa doesn't have lake access, you have a few access points to the lake and they are pretty wild and hidden. 1. Activities: - I recommend the nautical centre in order to rent paddle boats, SUP boards, kayaks and electric motorboats. - Fishermans Resort to rent tandem kayaks, padel boats. Also, if you don't enjoy watersports, they offer a small lake tour with a bigger boat. - I heard you can also take a nice hike to "Tăul Zânelor" 2. Lunch & Dining: Cabana Dani - very nice lake view, friendly staff, best burgers, big sized portions and more than decent prices. !!! Make sure to have cash with you, as the next atm is a 30-minute car ride away and few places accept cards. !!! Ask your host if you can access the accommodation with your type of car... in less than 10 minutes we had to help push two cars up the hill from a lakefront villa, halfway to the main road. !!! Usually, last orders for dinners are around 21.00.
