The location, the place itself and the staff were all perfect! The room was a perfect mix of rustic and modern utilities. The breakfast was plentiful and yummy. We would 100% go back to also check out the sauna and hot tub 😁

I would like to share here a few words about our amazing experince at Flori Haus. Not only that we enjoyed every single detail about our stay there, but we also felt welcomed and treated like family by Flori, the host, who went above and beyond to help some needy guests like we were, with everything she could. The food is also very tasty and one could have breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner on site. We would surely choose Flori Haus while traveling through the area again. Highly recommended!

Spent a couple of days in the village over Christmas and had a great time. The two hosts are very nice, invited me for drinks and dinner plus took good care of me during the whole stay. The accommodation itself is an old German building that was refurbished with traditional interiors and is just lovely to stay in. I'd definitely come back one day!

Pensiunea Keisd is a great guesthouse. Johann and his wife were very welcoming hosts, keen for me to enjoy my 3 night stay, for example organising a day trip to Viscri for me. Their food was excellent. Breakfasts were a feast of different local cheeses and salamis, homemade jams, local honey, bread, eggs, fruit, homemade fruit cordial etc etc. all laid out on my table, just for me! Lorenna was worried I wasn't eating enough as there was so much food! They also offered dinner, complete with free homemade schnapps & liqueur, served outside if you wanted, under their pergola covered in fragrant honeysuckle. Straight outside the guesthouse was stork's nest with 4 young birds, and there was an excellent view of the nest from upstairs. The rooms are large, with a sizable bathroom & all the mod cons you could want. My room was better than most of the 4 star hotels I stayed in elsewhere in Romania. Saschiz makes an excellent stopping place to enjoy rural Romania. The guesthouse is in a great location away from the busy (E60) main road that runs through Saschiz and has a steady stream of trucks etc all day. It's right near Pivinita Bunicii (Grandma's Cellar) a Scottish-owned business that makes high quality jams etc. from all the local fruit and flower. It's a short walk from the church in the centre of the village, which also has a shabby chic teahouse called Tei, a hotel/bar and 2 tourist information offices. One of these is run by an EU rural development project called Fundatia Adept, which has extensive information about the local flora, agriculture and the various hiking & biking trails in this part of Transylvania. The EU project is to protect the astounding floral diversity of the traditional hay meadows, which are rich in flowers in late spring/ early summer. If you are driving, I'd recommend Saschiz over Viscri, which was full of tourists til 2pm on the day I visited.

Very nice and cozy. The property is very well kept and the staff was amazing. You can enjoy a delicious dinner on the terrace. We stayed in the tiny house and it was very clean and comfy. The breakfast was excellent.

Amazing location, spectacular view from the backyard. Time has a different dimension here, everything is peaceful and calm. Pure nature. Exemplary refurbished property with extreme attention to detail. Perfect blend of well preserved tradition and discrete modern touches. Lovely and very caring owners, they ensured we feel very welcomed and at home, as if we would have been friends or family. Great selection of local vines available on site, fabulous breakfast with local traditional products. For dinner you can book one day in advance a 3 course meal with cheese tasting ( matured cheese produced by the owners) prepared and served by the owners in the neighbor village Mesendorf in an old barn. Would definitely recommend, it was absolutely delicious! We will definitely return, it will be our place to go for any future Transylvania trips. Amazing experience, so glad we found you!
