We stayed at La Casa in Cetate for one night during our trip back from Greece to Cluj, and we really enjoyed it. The house is spotless clean, everything inside is brand new – from the furniture and TVs to the fully equipped kitchen. It has a spacious terrace and a lovely garden, perfect for relaxing in the peaceful atmosphere of the village, which really reminded us of childhood days at our grandparents’ home. There is private parking inside the yard, which was very convenient. The hosts are extremely kind and welcoming, and they truly made us feel at home. They even showed us a video of the nearby Danube beach – a sandy spot where people can swim and relax. We didn’t have time to go this time, but it looked wonderful, and we’d love to come back for a longer stay to enjoy it. Overall, it’s a beautiful, quiet place with wonderful hosts – we definitely recommend it!

It's basically a motorway service station and initially didn't look very inviting. However, the staff and the room was clean and comfortable. To be recommended for a stopover.

A fantastic accommodation with everything you need and more. Clean, nice rooms. Quiet and peaceful location not far from shops and restaurants. Access to a cozy garden made our stay even better. The owner is incredibly service-minded and made sure we had a great night's stay. She put her heart into making sure we had a good time. Can really recommend this accommodation. We were in transit to Greece and decided to sleep one night in Calafat before crossing the bridge to Vidin. We wanted something simple, just for one night and it was more than what we expected. The room was so clean and new, we had a mini fridge, a modern bathroom and the owner was super kind and helpful. Definitely a great choice, especially if you want to travel further. The place was quiet, close to a gas station and if you drive for like 4 minutes, you'll find a Lidl in Calafat.
