Very nice stay near the entrance of the park, most convenient for people hiking the Cyamudongo section as it's a 5am meet up near the hotel. Jane and her staff were kind and helpful. They confirmed our park guide and made sure the room was comfortable for three people. I suggest the packed breakfast option with egg sandwich for the chimp hike at 5am. The dinner was very good too, the roasted pumpkin side was delicious. Nice tea and cookies on arrival.

The staff was very accommodating! Food was very good. Location and lake views were beautiful, especially the sunset over the water. The cottage we stayed in was good for 2-4 people. The staff prepared a fire in the evening out on the porch for us.

First off, this hotel is a hidden gem. Our tour company recommended their own suggestions and we were not pleased with them so we did our own research and I found this place. Wow! First off, it’s beautifully located right on Lake Kivu and is so relaxed and feels very safe with their own security. The room is beautiful, spacious, and has a great bathroom and patio. Moreover, the staff was outstanding and so attentive and communicative. And the food was outstanding on property. Breakfast is included so make sure to enjoy it. We also loved our dinner.
