Gagnef is centrally located in a small picturesque village. It is not far to places like Leksand, Rattvik (great Hemslojd store with a "museum" of older folk dresses upstairs), Nusnas, Mora (Anders and Emma Zorn home), Falun (Carl and Karin Larsson home), and the like. It is very nice to walk over to the Gagnef church and the floating bridge. The staff was wonderful and helpful! We had a great stay and would love to come back!

The cabin is located in a peaceful and quiet forest. It is clean and has everything useful for a family stay. A lot of board game is available for play although most of them are not English or Swedish. The host is very nice and she helped to ship our left ebook reader to home. We are so appreciated. My family likes to stay in this cabin and we would come back for a longer stay.
