The breakfast was excellent. A Swedish B&B was a new experience for us so this was a great way to get away from touristy areas. The cottage was cozy and we slept well in such a quiet place, even with a very windy night. Check in was super easy even without Swedish language skills.

Three nights were not enough! For us Strandakar made for an ideal home base for exploring the island’s many treasures. Our hosts Charlotte and Lars were the perfect guides in helping us make the most of our days. Breakfasts and dinners were both beautifully prepared and delicious. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. For all of Strandakar’s charms and beauty, it is the hosts are the magic that makes this place special and one to return to again. A great little spot. Good service. Nice breakfast. Rooms very basic but works well. Quiet. Very clean. Padel courts were nice amenity.
