The host stepped outside to greet us upon our arrival, showed us around and gave us the key. The cottage is clean, spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a television with a number of programs in English with Swedish subtitles. The host shared farm fresh eggs from her farm. The claw-foot bathtub was enjoyable. Large washing machine was handy. The wardrobe closet was large enough, with plenty of hangers to unpack our clothes. It also contained extra bed linens and pillows. A walking path provided us with some nice strolls, and local towns (Varberg, Falkenberg) have the restaurants and grocers needed. There is a table in an enclosed entry (unheated) and blankets that is handy too.

This is not a conventional hotel, but that also is what made this an exceptional stay for us. The location is gorgeous, the staff very friendly, the food was good and everything was clean. We had a twin room with a sea side view. The room is small, but very nicely decorated and the view lived up to the promise. While the restaurants outside seating area is located next to the room we had no issues with noise. This might be different for other people of course. The surrounding area is also very nice with obvious the opportunity to nicely walk around the coast.

Everything was exceptional! The cottage has everything you need, everything to live there permanently. The cottage is immaculately clean. The hosts put a lot of effort into guests' comfort. Really lovely flat, very well equipped and the beds are incredibly comfortable! Very nice shower with hot water and lots of power. Off road parking. Covered outside seating space. Very much enjoyed my stay here and very friendly and helpful host.
