This hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise, since I didn’t expect much based on the pictures. Yes, the room is very small, but it’s so comfy! The mattress and the pillows are perfect, it’s so quiet in the hotel that you can spend the whole day in bed comfortably. You can open a window in the room, which is rare for Stockholm hotels. But the biggest plus of this hotel is breakfast, probably the best I ever had in a hotel. Everything is right temperature and very tasty, huge selection for a small hotel like this. Lots of gluten free and healthy options and amazing deserts, including candies and cakes. I didn’t see any children around while I was staying there, probably because the rooms are too small to stay with kids, which gives you an additional bonus of peace and quiet at breakfast and in the hotel in general. The stuff is very nice and helpful, I asked for a kettle and they immediately brought it to my room. Considering how awful most of the hotels are in Stockholm (from my experience), this was a hidden gem.

Stockholm’s famously huge number of museums includes the Naturhistoriska riksmuseet, the Moderna Museet and the Spritmuseum. City Hall hosts the famous Nobel Prize banquet and the Vasamuseet hosts the 300 year old Vasa warship.

The city’s past can be felt in Gamla Stan – Stockholm’s stunning Old Town with medieval layout, cobblestone streets and the Baroque-style Royal Palace. Designer Swedish clothes and interior decorations abound in the many unique stores throughout the city.

Stockholm in the Advent season is absolutely beautiful!

Stockholm in the Advent season is absolutely beautiful! The city is full of festive lights and decorations, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere despite the winter chill. The Christmas markets, especially at Skansen and in the Old Town (Gamla Stan), are a highlight – charming stalls, traditional crafts, and delicious seasonal treats. Walking along the waterfront and through the historic streets feels like stepping into a winter postcard. Public transport is excellent, making it easy to reach all attractions. Dress warmly, as temperatures can be quite low, but the experience is worth it. A perfect destination for anyone who loves Christmas traditions and Scandinavian charm!

Xmas market in old town was smaller than expected and disappointing that it closed at 6pm. Lots of nice restaurants in old town . Plenty to see . Would be nice in sunny weather ,but went in winter . stunning architecture that would look even better in the sun along with boat trips

Stockholm it's self was very beautiful.

Stockholm it's self was very beautiful. We visited quite a few museums in just 3 days. We visited the Vasa Museum, The ABBA Museum, Avici Experience, Skansen open air museum and it is quite beautiful with children as it has animals as well and we did the 360 gondola on Avici arena. We ate local food, we tried the meat balls of wild boar and we took meat and tasted even pizza. It was quite easy to travel around the city we bought 3 day ticket for me and my husband as children up to 13 years don't pay. It's quite convenient , they all arrive on time and with the card you can use trams. trains , busses all the city transportation.

Organised, connected & clean.

Organised, connected & clean. Also friendly, charming & fascinating. Plentiful choice of restaurants, bars & cafes. Easy to get around. Would recommend a boat trip around the islands & archipelago and a stroll or two around Gamla Stan & Djurgarden. Beautiful city, charming people & interesting lifestyle.

Preplanning is essential.

Preplanning is essential. Buy tickets to museums etc early before going to Stockholm. Make sure you are fine with the weather as both times I visited the country it was extremely cold. Be financially prepared as everything is extremely expensive by any standard. Experience local cuisine is essential and the Vasa and Spirit museum are both outstanding. Look out for the Nordic animals at Skansen. They might not all be out and about as they hibernate in winter. The Christmas markets are not as upscale as in western European countries.

It was a great place with professional staff. We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was spotless. But the main reason you may consider is the location of the hotel. I think it's the best place since you have access to the subway next to the hotel, close to the central station (about 10 minutes by walk). You will enjoy walking from the hotel to the city center and will see lots of cafes and restaurants. I will consider this hotel again for my next visit to Stockholm.

Way better than expected! I have stayed in a number of places in Stockholm but in comparison to price/worth ratio, this is easily one of the best. The location is basically at Slussen station, in the hotel you can use washing automat and ironing room, there are tea and coffee for a small fee in the communal area. Thought there is ongoing construction on Slussen, nothing is heard in the hotel. The room is freshly renovated, with all necessities inside.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Unlike anything else. The hotel alone, a reason to come back to Stockholm. Not only beautiful design at every turn by Ilse Crawford, with so many nooks and places to rest and read books or relax. the generosity at every level is extraordinary – products and amenity, flowers, candles, fragrance & beauty. Nothing was too much of an ask of staff who were amazing at anticipating your every need.

Very affordable, great breakfast, comfortable beds, free parking, close to shopping mall and IKEA and bus connections. Great option for a cheap drive and park hotel on the outskirts of Stockholm. Highly recommend if you are driving up to Stockholm but don't want to drive in the busy city centre (here you can park your car and use a sl.se transit day pass to get around without any worry of traffic and parking).

The experience was awful, they had bed bugs in my room, and I got several bites. The hotel offered to refund, but when I got back to hotel with my luggage in the evening, the staff told me she was not informed and authorized to do so, and I had to come back again for their intenal process gap. It is just ridiculous, just imagine you have bed bugs in Stockholm with Best Western
