Wellba is a newly renovated property and it is clear from the moment you enter the people who own it have really put their heart and soul in to the place. We came as 2 bike packers seeking refuge in a storm, Matt welcomed us as soon as we arrived and provided every facility we might need… a kitchen, a washing machine it was absolutely perfect! The room was spotless and extremely comfortable, Matt was extremely helpful and flexible with us and the breakfast was delicious. We couldn’t believe our luck given the circumstances - the value for money was fantastic we would stay there again in a heart beat thank you Matt and his team 🫶🏻

Aleksander and the Valič family are the perfect hosts. They surpassed our expectations! The apartment is new, clean, well-equipped (washing machine, dishwasher, tv, iron, etc). They also offer wine tastings since Aleksander is a certificated sommelier! This goes beyond accommodation: it is an experience to meet the culture of the local producers in the Vipava Valley. Very comfortable ground floor apartment located right on the banks of the Vipava river. Nice location which felt rural but in reality was only 5-10 minutes drive from Ajdovščina and all its facilities. The apartment is an excellent base not only for exploring the surrounding Vipava valley but also coastal places such as Piran with its Venetian architecture and the Italian city of Trieste. If you're an angler the location doesn't get much better with the Vipava literally just across the road. Highly recommended!

This is an amazing place, everything is brand new and you have all you could wish for. It's in a quiet village roughly 5 mins drive to the nearest town of Ajdovscina. This is a good starting point to do hiking, cycling, or just visit the surrounding villages and towns. Very kind and hospitable hosts will help you with everything you need. They also have a winery so you can enjoy wine tasting. I wholeheartedly recommend this place if you are visiting the area!

Location was in a village about 2 miles from the centre of town - an easy walk (or drive). Fields of hay being bailed around you. Filed of goats opposite. Church bells ring the quarter hours. Bats at night. A rustic idyll. Good views of the valley, looking across the fields towards the small town (Ajdovščina). Nice stay.
