I stayed at the Hotel Grof for 3 day biking holiday. We loved three things about this property: A) the food for breakfast and dinner was delicious. the yogurt was from a local farm. prices were nearly half of what you get at a similar hotel in Ljubljana B) the rooms and facilities were top notch. clean and modern. they have some nice stylistic touches in the rooms, dining areas and even some hidden gems throughout the property. C) we did three days of cycling. the hotel is a perfect launch point for Biking adventures. Matic, the biking guru, helped us greatly by making customized routes, dispensing advice and even led us through the Logarska Dolina with explainations that made it definitely worth the effort. an amazing experience.

We liked the location a lot, it was a quick walk to the beer fountain (the town's main attraction) and near a grocery store which we appreciated. It's also a 15 minute drive to nearby charming medieval town Celije. We stopped here during a road trip enroute back to Ljubljana. This is not a glamorous place to stay, but it's good price for value.

Is really easy to get there and really close to the highway but despite that surrounded by nature. Renata, the owner, was really kind since the first moment and available for everything. She really cares that the staying of the customers is comfortable. There's no bar/restaurant but a really big kitchen and cold/warm drinks available at the reception 24/7 . The common areas are really clean and cozy. Like the cottage where we stayed that was super warm, cozy and clean.

I have been to a lot of camping but here was the best of the best sofar. Very Clean ..beds are really comfy.we stayed two nights but next time at least 4 nights.there is a shallow river which you can get cool or even get some suntan.coffee machine which u can buy coffee with 1 Euro.you can order fresh bread the day before and u will have it for breakfast nextday.there are a lots of activities you can do.bikes to rent. In general i look forward coming back next time.
