I had a great stay and it was perfect for my needs, which was as simple as surfing nearby and having a relaxing few days. The location is hard to beat. If you are looking for nice swimming at a beach, El Zonte is likely not the place for you, depending on the time of year. If you are looking for beautiful views, nice pools, great sunsets, awesome restaurants nearby, and a very relaxing vibe, this is the place for you. At low tide you can go for a nice walk along the beach, at high tide it's difficult to walk on the beach. Lastly, the staff was absolutely excellent, super friendly, and very accomodating.

The hotel grounds are beautiful and lush and very well manicured and taken care of. The pool was always so clean and refreshing. The rooms are simple and spotless and clean. All the bedding was laundered and smelled fresh and clean. Very close to Surf break like a minute walk. Great birding in the back by the river. Free tipico breakfast was best breakfast in town. Great staff and owner. Will definitely be my place to stay when going back.

Puro Surf has become like a second home for me and my family. We make sure to visit a few times a year, and we're always mesmerized by the amazing and soothing experience. Beautiful pool and amazingly friendly staff. They now remember us so they're even friendlier, and it makes out stay feel more cozy.

Beautiful property located within walking distance from El Zonte beach. The property, pool, and garden was lovely and well maintained. Bathroom was incredibly clean. Bed was so comfortable! The rooms are very quiet, I slept so well. Coffee was available in the morning.
