I booked a stay at hotel continental through Booking.com. I was quoted a price with no deposit, but the property called, demanding the full payment upfront because of the local Carnival, claiming it was a deposit and hinting at extra fees on arrival. This is misleading, as Booking.com's terms specified the final price. I feel this is unfair practice."

This place is really above the normal level of vacation rentals in El salvador. This is a place that I would consider a nice vacation rental even in the United states. Beautiful clean bathroom that smells like cinnamon, tea bags and coffee packets, electric kettle, refrigerator, and other amenities made our stay super comfy. The room is pretty and attractively decorated. I liked seeing the little tree out the window. Check in was super easy. This place is located close to a lot of good restaurants. Definitely the best vacation rental I've ever had in El salvador. Good lighting options too.
