For us it was an outstanding experience to walk through the reserve and meet with Giraffes, Deer and warthogs. The house itself was far bigger and more luxurious than we would have needed. In the beginning we felt a bit ashamed to have a private pool in a paradise like spot in a poor country where people are living from a view dollars per day. Please give generous tipps to the gardeners, receptionist and cleaning staff. If you can afford this house, you can afford tipping. Even if in fact the price is no higher than an average hotel room in Europe. We felt blessed to stroll around with the animals. Also visit the nearby Hlane National Park!

everything, the location, the waterhole at the campsite, the buffet for dinner, the clean room in a spacious rondavel with good working shower, and klamboe, the parafine lamps to make your way between restaurant and rondavel, and to see in the dark. It all just adds up to an amazing experience. Not to forget the amazingly friendly woman at the entrance of the park. What a way to welcome new visitors. And also park ranger Maburo who made our game drive in the evening into a wonderful experience. The fact that there is no electricity and internet makes up for even more ways to enjoy this place. rhino's at the waterhole, crocs and hippo's in the waterhole, lions in the park, elephants roaming about the park and nyalas wandering in between the rondavels. I will come back.

We enjoyed our stay, the facility was great and so the price also. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant which was very nice. Will definitely visit again. The only downside in our unit was the bath, we would have preferred a shower.

The game Guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant.

The game Guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant. Unfortunately on our first Sunset drive, there was a big storm and all the passengers were soaking wet and freezing cold. Guides should have asked us if we wanted to go home and / or plastic ponchos should have been available for the use of guests on the drive. A small blanket would have been a good thing too as it was very cold. Perhaps a bit more info regarding procedure at the restaurant and more upfront info regarding the lack of charging facilities for phones. Our paraffin lamp was leaking and so a very strong paraffin smell pervaded our accommodation.
