A wonderful place created by mindful people. The area is vast, and the foundation dedicated to rescuing elephants is truly remarkable. The breakfasts are hearty, and there’s a stunning view of the river. We highly recommend the Samboon Legacy Foundation operating in the area. The swimming pool is fantastic!

Everything. The family yurt was lovely. So comfy, spacious and a great place for a getaway. The property offered free use of kayaks, a movie night and free marshmallows on the fire every evening. The staff at the property were so kind, they always went above and beyond. Would highly recommend anyone thinking of staying here.

Very enjoyable and relaxing stay. If you plan to stay here, you would need to rent a scooter or a bike since there is some drive from town. Peaceful atmosphere. Great restaurant just across the road.

Property was amazing. Stunning location (better than the pictures) with everything you need on site - food, drinks, fire wood ect. The included breakfast was great too! We were provided cheep lifts to and from the town by the staff who were super friendly, nice and accommodating to us during our stay - even putting us in touch with some locals who could provide us with an hour lift to and from the national park. We slept incredibly well. The tents have good air con and electricity inside and the beds are comfy and clean. We had 0 mosquitos during our stay. The tents are super private with plenty of space for a couple. Honestly I can’t stress how amazing this property was and couldn’t recommend it more. My only regret is not having stayed for longer. We’ve stayed in some amazing places on our trip but this was just above and beyond.

What an amazing time we had at The Modeva Hotel! The rooms are very beautiful and cosy, the bed is super comfortable, everything is extremely clean and well maintained, the garden and pool area really help you unwind, but above all: the staff and owner are extremely friendly and helpful! They do everything they can to make your stay memorable. Oh, and the location is perfect too: close to everything, but in a very quiet side street.

Service was exceptional. We stayed during the low season and got a free upgrade. Besides this, the lady who took care of the hotel, was very accommodating and would help us with any questions we might've had. She even picked us up when we biked down to the night market and it started pouring. Besides this, the facilities are great. Everything was clean, modern and the beds were soft. This was by far the best hotel while staying in Thailand. I highly recommend staying here if you are in Kanchanaburi.
