I felt so lucky to stay with this beautiful family . after 2 months of moving around in hotels I finally felt like home ..the room was beautiful and comfortable,delicious breakfast ,birds singing all day in a stunning garden .. you can feel the love in every flower there. you can walk around the villagel safely seeing all the beautiful smiling faces of the locals:) there a 7/11in 5 minutes walk and a great market. the best thing in my stay was my host . I met an incredible family thank you so much ❤️

This was by far our favourite hotel that we stayed in during our trip! I have been in Thailand for a month and my partner a couple of weeks and we really saved the best until last. Chiang Ron was the best (and most affordable!) - it's a beautiful family-run hotel in a peaceful location with the friendliest staff. Nothing was too much and we felt really well looked after. The room is stunning and very large with everything you need for a relaxing stay - we see why Ron came here and didn't carry on his travel plans after falling in love with this place! The bed is very comfortable and everything is very clean with a lovely hot shower and amaaaaazing bath. It's not in the centre of Chiang Mai but that's clearly advertised before booking and we knew we would be renting a motorbike. It was really easy to get to and from the hotel into the city by bike and there is plenty of parking available. The staff at the hotel even let my partner borrow a helmet for the day when the one he rented was uncomfortable and they do offer scooter rental and free bikes on site. They did lots of laundry for us same day and they really just wanted to help us in any way they could. The free airport shuttle is an added bonus too and it's not too far from the airport. We are really going to miss Chiang Ron and we will absolutely come back if and when we visit Thailand again! Couldn't recommend staying here more - book it!!!! :)

It was an amazing stay at this warming place. Big and her husband Tok were really caring and lovely hosts. When we arrive we were feeling dizzy and they were so kind to provide local aromatherapy to help us feel better. They also gave us great recommendation for local markets, attractions and food places. In their place there was free tea, coffee, fresh bananas and books that they lend. Every day they reached out to us to ensure we were confortable at their place, as well as if we were enjoying the stay.
