I had a wonderful stay at Khao Sok River Stone & Camping Resort! The staff was really sweet and helpful — I even got to make some delicious khanom krok (mini Thai pancakes) with them. The nature around the resort is stunning, with the river and lush greenery making it so peaceful. They are so friendly and made my stay extra special. Highly recommend!

Wasana Camp is probably the closest to home you can get in a tourist place like Khao Sok region. Wasana is an incredibly sweet and genuine woman, she is happy to help with literally anything and her cooking skills are absolutely exquisite. Unfortunately, something went wrong with our booking; we booked a cabin for three people but when we arrived, she apologized for it not being available. But she immediately offered a very comfortable tent. And we could join dinner immediately after arriving. In the end, the tent was probably nicer than the cabin..! They are also very helpful with finding a tour or activity. For example, they offered our friend a private jungle hike, and for us she found two seats on the lake tour even though it was already fully booked online. Jack, one of the employees, became something of a friend to us. He helped us with everything and he was the guide accompanying our friend in the jungle. Overall, this was a hidden gem with lovely people that make you feel right at home.

Beautiful villa, wonderful hospitable and caring hostess and her husband. We had an excellent dinner, which was prepared by the hostess and her assistant. I participated in a master class in preparing Papaya salad. The presentation of the dishes was very elegant. The design of the rooms was magnificent. Thank you very much for your hospitality. This place is a little bit special. The family who own this place are brilliant. We spent only 1 night here, but we wish we'd booked for our entire stay in Khao Sok. Food at the restaurant is excellent The location is out the way, but don't let that disuade you. There's a beautiful jacuzzi pool on your terrace. The owner and his family are super helpful and can't do enough for you. And if you're a cat lover..Well, you're in for a treat. Special place.
