I loved everthing about this place, a small peninsula property offering peace and quiet for a great chill. The views are amazing, the sunsets over the sea are fabulous. Its the kind of place that you would like to keep secret and keep the experience just for yourself. Hosts Fisal and Nawel are always on hand with advice and tips for local exploration and the home cooked meals were plentiful and. delicious. This is the place to stay on the island of Djerba

Beautiful dar, near the sea in a secluded part od Djerba. Very welcoming hosts. Parking, swimming pool, spacious rooms and the whole place was very clean.

First, you have to understand that this is a caravansary and not a modern hotel. With this in mind, the place was amazing! It was like stepping back in time hundreds of years - although they have installed running water and even air-conditioning to the rooms. Sure, many things could be repaired and maintained better (for example the toilet seat was not well fixed to the floor and was a bit wobbly, and the shower drain was clogged), but that just adds to its charm. If you're a history geek or just want to experience something different than the generic modern-style hotel rooms then this is a place for you! They ask a payment in advance with a bank transfer which sounded a bit suspicious but in the end everything went very well. The food in the restaurant is very good but quite expensive at local standards.

The property is new, welcoming, and beautifully designed — definitely one of the nicest rooms we’ve ever stayed in. The pool is a real treat on hot days, offering the perfect refreshment. The beds are incredibly comfortable. But above all, it’s the kindness of the hosts — always friendly and smiling, always, always, always. Very friendly staff, convenient location in the center of Houmt Souk yet quiet and with a great roof terrace to relax. Staff organized a taxi for the airport early in the morning and even prepared a small breakfast at 5 in the morning which we unfortunately needed to skip due to the early hour. The hotel feels like a cosy home and in my opinion was much preferable to the all inclusive hotels along Djerba beach, especially if you are looking for something more authentic and not for a beach/party hotel.

Hotel Dar Dhiafa is located on Djerba Island in the village of Erriadh and Houmt Souq Harbour is a 10-minute drive away.

The place is incredibly beautiful, full of details at every corner. You have two peaceful swimming pools to chill and enjoy the sun. The breakfast is self service with so many options, included fresh orange juice :) Staying in this special hotel is just an experience in its own :)
