The overall simplicity and comfort of the place make you feel like you’re visiting your grandmother’s summer house, but with the added touch of an experienced team providing top-notch service. The restaurant is exceptional, offering not just typical hotel meals but a true taste of Ayvalık. The dishes were carefully prepared, and at breakfast, the regional olives and cheeses were beautifully presented. The beach is calm and well-maintained, with special services for guests with pets. We’ve experienced pet-friendly services before, like in Switzerland during a ski trip, but D Resort truly stands out as a pet-friendly hotel. One minor issue we encountered was that areas designated for guests with pets during breakfast and by the beach were sometimes taken by other guests who found those spots appealing. I don’t know why 😁 However, the staff quickly resolved the issue by finding us a new place. The service quality is top-notch, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The sea is warm, and the sandy beach is perfect for families with young children. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the bungalows come with large gardens and balconies, providing a refreshing and open atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place where you can swim peacefully, avoid large crowds, listen to the sound of the sea, and enjoy a gentle breeze without being overwhelmed by noise or crowded activities, this is the perfect spot. It’s an ideal, peaceful retreat for families with little paws.

The staff went above and beyond to help us with a few things. We left early before breakfast, they packed us a breakfast to go. The accomodation has its own private beach , was so nice to go for a swim and watch the sunset.

What did I like? I can say that everything, the location is on a cozy, pretty, flower-filled street, close to all the main attractions of the island, good restaurants, coffee shops, excellent beaches. Delicious breakfasts at the hotel, served individually on the open cozy terrace, I will miss the omelette with cheese, menemen, simit and Turkish tea :) Thank you very much for my great stay at your hotel! We had a fantastic experience right in the heart of old town Ayvalik in this authentic hotel. Incredibly helpfull and friendly staff as well. I would recomend this hotel always! They have a Turkish restaurant with lovely live music as well. If you drive yourself, just phone them 5 min before you are in Ayvalik. They will organise to meet you and assist in navigating you to the hotel. This is important as old town Ayvalik has very narrow alleyways and you do not want to end up navigating on your own.

What did I like? We had a fantastic experience right in the heart of old town Ayvalik in this authentic hotel. Incredibly helpfull and friendly staff as well. I would recomend this hotel always!
