Upon arrival, we were immediately surprised by the unique location of this lodge, situated on the top of a cliff with a rich history. Amongst it’s endless beach and rich marine life, it also serves as the perfect spot to watch the sunset and find your inner peace. The rooms, restaurant & other facilities, clearly taking into account principles such as ecology and sustainability, contributed to this experience. Most of all, we would like to thank the owners and staff, who all give their best during our stay, a healthy mix between passion and giving chances to the local communities. The place is beautiful. From a special tour to the mangroves to a very peaceful part of the beach, also monkeys passing by and you can watch them during your morning coffee. Everything is special at this place. Thanks a lot Francesco and Team, especially Joseph who showed us a lot around!

The owner and the manager are very, very kind. They are always helping with everything. It is a quiet, calm place. You will love this nature place, when you wake up…there will be monkeys and you will see many different butterflies as well. Everything is made with so much love & heart. There are so many, little details. ♥️

We liked everything. House is beautiful. Perfect location. Directly on the beach. We had all we needed, we couldn't wish more. Compare to Zanzibar, beach is so calm. All yours. Children enjoyed a lot. Simply perfect.

Everything has been done the way it should have been done. The team provided great food, great company, assistance, and responsibility for tourists' safety. The staff is VERY client focused, it cares for tourists and is ready to do client service at very HIGH standards! Therefore if you consider choosing a hotel to go to Pangani, JUST GO for the Ushongo Beach Bandas. You will not regret it. The owner of the hotel is very knowledgeable, professional, ready to help and advice at any stage of your trip. PS. For me Pangani is a very interesting place to see and experience, especially, if you want to feel nature, the Indian Ocean and be in a quiet area. Better than Zanzibar.

Stanley the manager is just wonderful and so helpful. The location is PHENOMENAL, the beds are so comfy and the views from the rooms are just PERFECT. Ocean swimming is incredible in the morning, some of the best along the coast that we've been to. The house is spacious and exactly as advertised. and the food... soooo delicious and fresh. I wouldn't recommend eating out, worth the cost and convenience of having Mamma cook, we weren't disappointed ever. We spent most of the time on the balcony/deck, relaxing in the hammocks or on the day bed enjoying the views. Long leisurely walks on the beach, swimming, easting... honestly one of the most relaxing holidays we've ever had. Super safe, comfortable, beautiful. Just go!
