Beautiful city and friendly people.

Beautiful city and friendly people. Getting around either by walking most things are within a few blocks. They have rail and local bus services nearby that could take you around. I ubered, just because I didn’t want to walk cost me $5-$6. Places nearby chipotle, most fast food places. Restaurants like Steak houses, and if you looking for comfort food Kitchen and kocktails. For solo visitors like myself. There was a nice park right across the street. City center was within 2-3 miles density restaurants and other things to do as well. All in all a great city to visit.

The traffic on the interstates was unbelieveable bad.

The traffic on the interstates was unbelieveable bad. The last few miles into the city was just horrible. It is like torture to drive there. I was there in early Dec and there are very few things to do inside. I went to a couple of museums just for something to do. I left a day early because it was such a waste of time.

I'm a native of North Carolina.

I'm a native of North Carolina. Charlotte has really grown and become a premiere location for entertainment. I loved it. Great food, fun and entertainment. I've lived in 13 states since I left North Carolina in 1996. Charlotte is definitely an attractive reason for coming back.

This was a trip I made because I wanted to see Sy Smith who performed at the Booth Playhouse in the Blumenthal performing arts complex. Booth Playhouse has really affordable acts and was a very intimate facility. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back. I really didn't get to explore the city as much as I should but the people were friendly overall and there was a lot options for food in wide range of affordability. Maybe next time I can stay around longer.

It was a good experience, my family and I stayed here so we could go to the Charlotte Hornet’s Game. The train station was near by, we walked there and were able to have close access to the entrance to the game. The train ride made it easy for us to get around.

A very clean and fun city.

A very clean and fun city. The four neighborhoods are well defined and the cities history is very cool. Downtown is laid out very logically, easy to get around, lots of museums, very walkable, a downtown train and buses, a great jazz club - The Middle C. The location gives you access to both NC and SC colleges, banking, technology, football, baseball the outdoors

This is a new facility in a newly constructed district at Ballantyne. Charlotte downtown is actually far from this place. we were in transit from Washington to Florida so one night stay in the hotel fully suited our purpose. Quite location, nice sleep and everything was new. Park my car just next to the entrance, the parking is big enough and I saw a multi storeys garage on the parking.
