Location was great and I think they upgraded us to a better room because the view was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and the suite was a good size.

I had read the reviews and had high expectations and they were more than met. The house and grounds are just fantastic. There is a path from the house to the very private hot tub towards the back of the property that wanders under a canopy of mature trees and is lit by a string of lights to a very romantic location. You can reserve the hot tub to assure privacy. Very nice. The breakfasts are unique daily; delicious, nutritious, and eclectic, utilizing local ingredients some grown right on the property. The rooms are comfortable and wonderfully historic. The hosts, Charles and Jill, are welcoming, very accommodating, and a wonderful source of information about Orcas Island and its resources.

Clean, comfortable, quiet - all things I had been looking forward to experiencing during this trip. Made a great choice going with Deer Harbor Inn. 15~ minutes away from the Eastsound "downtown" area but remote enough to enjoy the peace of the countryside without interruptions. The Inn had coffee and tea, common areas with board games, lots of beautiful art, and a lovely electric fireplace in the room. Truly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning on my next Orcas Island trip!

We loved the coziness of the cottage. The property was gorgeous and country-like. We liked how there was a bbq restaurant walking distance from us (no need for a DD). We loved the hot tub and the view.

Nothing they cancelled 24 hour desire check in and there were no other room in hotels Available in the area. Ferry ticket and other cost were not reimbursed. Worst execution we have ever had .

Really cozy inn in pretty location. Very quick to respond if we needed something. Gas fireplace in room is a nice touch. Loved having a coffee maker and real individual creamers!
