United StatesWe stayed in a room that has two queen size beds and one king. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with feather pillows. Everything was very clean with updated sinks (one inside the bathroom one outside the bathroom) and furnishings. They were working on remodeling other rooms, so they obviously care and put money into the property. The stay included a free breakfast, which oddly was at the Best Western a couple blocks down the road. It really wasn’t a big deal going there, we packed up all our stuff and went there before heading out of town. The breakfast was amazing. It has eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, all the fixings for a breakfast burrito, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal with a bunch of fixings, waffles, and everything else a continental breakfast has. All the staff we encountered at both places were so kind and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

We stopped in Lusk because it was the logical stopping point...
We stopped in Lusk because it was the logical stopping point on a road trip. It was a Sunday, so dining options were very limited. Two restaurant/bars and a Subway. We went to the Silver Dollar- menu choices were limited but the food was good. Our server was excellent. It would have been a better experience if it had been non-smoking.

Lusk is a clean town but unfortunately, the lockdowns hit...
Lusk is a clean town but unfortunately, the lockdowns hit hard and there were only three places to eat - pizza, Subway, and a bar and grill that allowed smoking. We had calzones at the pizza place and the food was great. We had ice cream at an antique shop and that was great, too. There were not a lot of shops still operating. There were only three hotel options and we chose the highest rated one, but would go with the Best Western next time because the breakfast they served was so good. Probably would plan not to stop here if possible but it worked for us on this trip.

Perfect place to stop between Boulder/Denver to the Black Hills.
Breakfast was awesome. The French toast was perfect. Sausage, scrambled eggs and potatoes really hit the spot. In addition to orange and apple juice they had zero calorie fruit flavored water.
The family run historic hotel was great.

The woman was super friendly. The room big and clean. Amazing shower. Breakfast included at the other hotel which was excellent food. Loved this hotel and strongly recommend.

The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was newly remodeled and had everything we wanted. I would highly recommend the hotel .
