This is a beautiful historic hotel with stunning grounds. We had a view of the gardens and bridge behind the hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Our server was friendly and made our experience a lot of fun. Staff was all friendly and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed longer. Great place to stay if you are exploring the Redwoods.

We loved everything. It was spacious and clean. The view was amazing! We loved that it had a hot tub overlooking the ocean. The sunset is amazing! Also, we loved and appreciated that when we got to our room that there was an envelope welcoming us! In the letter they also stated that there was a gift in the fridge. It was a bottle of sparkling wine. I've stayed many places and no other rental has done that for us. So we thought that was a very nice gesture.

Loved the accommodations, huge Red Wood trees outside our patio door, great place to stay while exploring the Red Woods.

the property is right on the water with gorgeous Pacific views. the rooms are clean and the staff is terrific. we also went through the Humboldt Earthquake there and a generator kicked in after a couple of minutes. very safe place
