Wonderful location, overlooking the rice fields, it's very beautiful. You can do several hikes on your own in the beautiful surroundings. The view is amazing. Very friendly owner and staff. The owner gave us good directions to get to the place.

The location is unbelievable, the most beautiful place i have ever slept at. Amazing views. Very nice owners, made me dinner and a light breakfast. The stay is really authentic, all the animals roaming freely at the nearby field... just a wonderful place!!

The location of the homestay is pristine, on the mountainside with relaxing sounds of flowing waterfalls and rivers. Views of traditional terraces covered the landscape to give the foreign guest a feel for the jungle and farming lifestyle that Bikki and her family possess. The Vietnamese cuisine that the family cooks is tasty and delicious. Plus, we were really happy that they did not mind us helping out and learning to make the dishes ourselves. The family also made sure that we, as guests, got to try every food that they love- for us, it was the sticky rice in leaf & an amazing jackfruit purchased from the market earlier that day. However great the food and location was, nothing beats the experience of an authentic Vietnamese homestay that Bikki and her family provide. We were very happy to feel immediately welcomed and immersed into the way of life, having the chance to hunt for bamboo shoots and pick tea leaves. I learned a great amount about tea from Bikki & her siblings, as they mainly pick and process the good for sell. We were looking for an authentic insight into the Vietnamese way of life with great place to stay on the incredible mountainside along with good traditional foods and a very welcoming family- Bikki Jungle Homestay gave us exactly that. We will be returning with more friends and family in the future.

I loved the stay with the family, they were incredibly inviting, friendly and informative. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The food is excellent and the views/surroundings are the best we've had in Vietnam.

The lotus flowers at Panhou Retreat are truly beautiful! I admired the vibrant blooming lotuses by the lake, creating a picturesque scene. Every morning, when the sunlight shines on the water's surface, the flowers look even more radiant. This is a wonderful place for taking photos and relaxing; I feel like I've stepped into paradise

I stayed at this homestay for 13 days and absolutely loved it — both for the incredibly beautiful location and for the chance to get to know the family. The hosts are wonderfully attentive and welcoming. Here, you can enjoy complete quiet or ask about anything that interests you — they’ll treat you with genuine care. The internet is excellent, there’s always hot water, and the bed is comfortable (though the pillows might feel a bit high for some). There are plenty of places to work on a laptop. There’s so much to explore around — you can wander the village for days. You’ll definitely find spots you fall in love with. I sincerely recommend staying here for a while instead of just passing through.

This place is literally HEAVEN ON EARTH. After a 4 hours car trip to this destination, my friend and I arrived to the Riz d'Or Retreat. Located on top of a mountain, completely remote from any kind of cities. Lost in nature. At peace. The taxi left us down a hill and the personnel came to pick us up with their motorbike. 1 minute and we had arrived to our stunning wooden bungalow, in the middle of bamboo fields. Climbing up the wooden stairs, was this grand double bedroom with a king sized bed, rafia mobilier and linen curtains. The room gave access to a small terrace where we would admire the typical Northern Vietnamese landscape. Mountains dressed with their tea fields terraces, a few houses here and there. Nature at its purest and simplest. The bathroom was exceptionally modern and clean, with toilets, shower, and sink, all added in the wooden decor with taste. The bungalow was also compound of a huge veranda equipped with wooden stools, a bathtub built in stone, toilets and a kitchen. The personnel was at utmost disposition during all our stay and provided for everything we needed. They also offered activities such as gardening, fishing and visiting the local villages and ethnies around. This place is worth any detour. We will remember it forever.
